Continuing my work placement at the Dean’s Office in Forestry as a Co-op Assistant, I leveraged various opportunities on campus to share my experience as a student, and as a staff member, of UBC Forestry. Why? One, because I enjoy interaction, and two, because wearing multiple hats in this faculty had given me the chance to try out different things. This picture is a photo I took for the Faculty of Forestry Online Presentation hosted by the eRecruitment team in UBC. The event was essentially an online ‘Meet and Greet’ for prospective students and I had the pleasure of participating in it. As a whole, my experience has taught me the importance of being adaptable and my interpersonal abilities — both crucial skills in determining my career progression. If you are thinking about discovering new and exciting career paths then co-op is the right program for you.
