Are you interested in becoming a Teaching Assistant in Forest and Conservation Sciences?
The Department of Forest and Conservation Sciences is looking for 2 full-time GTAs (each one 12 hours/week) in FRST 444 from September 1 to December 31, 2023.
Course: FRST 444/APBI 444 (Agroforestry)
Instructor: Teresa Ryan
Course Description: Ecological, economic and social benefits of incorporating trees into agricultural landscapes. Lectures and group work designing agroforestry systems in temperate and tropical contexts.
TA Required Qualifications: Knowledge of agroforestry systems; Excellent communication skills; Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Description of General Nature of Duties: Assist students with readings, lecture material and group projects. Help coordinate field trips and exercises. Assist in grading assignments and exams.
