Well, a few glitches here and there, but we made it through the first week relatively unscathed! By all accounts, the transition to online teaching has been very successful. Most importantly, our students continue to learn and are generally responding well to their new reality. They are very appreciative of everyone’s efforts.
This has been an enormous undertaking on all of our parts, and I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your patience, hard work, and cooperation in these extraordinary, tumultuous times. We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated group of instructors in the Faculty of Forestry, and your willingness to embrace new approaches to teaching has been heartening. And an infinitely huge thank you to all of our amazing staff who have supported these efforts in every imaginable way, working in less than ideal conditions.
Be safe and well.
