To ensure a smooth transition to online teaching – especially for those who have not yet taught online – Sarah Gergel, Associate Dean Academic, and the Teaching and Learning Support Team (led by Michelle Zeng) will hold several informal teaching and learning drop-in sessions in January 2022.
The first session will be on January 5 where we will familiarize you (or remind you about) the very extensive Faculty resources available for online teaching (from Planning for Fall Adhoc Committee, PFFAC), hear the “Greatest Hits” of online teaching from some of our own extraordinary instructors, and then open it for sharing questions, concerns, and experiences.
All members from the teaching community, including instructors and TAs are welcome to join. We especially welcome people new to online teaching at UBC.
