Week 7: Online Teaching and Learning – THANK YOU

Well, folks, we made it. Term is over…

Congratulations!!! Our emergency pivot to online teaching and learning has been – by all accounts – an unmitigated success!

We are so fortunate to have incredibly dedicated instructors and an extraordinarily supportive staff all working together for the collective good. To see this enormous undertaking come together so seamlessly, and more importantly, to see our students continue to learn in these trying times, has been an incredibly heartening and humbling experience for me.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone in the Faculty of Forestry for your hard work, patience, cooperation, and willingness to embrace new approaches.

In the coming days, Student Services will be engaged in the awfully complicated task of sorting out all of our students grades and academic concessions. Please help us by getting in your course grades as early as possible, and bear with us as we work through volumes of data and requests.

Stay safe and well, everyone. Take some time to relax – you deserve it.
