The Faculty of Science (Skylight) and the Equity and Inclusion Office invite you to a group discussion to talk about the book Indian Horse by Richard Wagamese. Indian Horse is a beautiful, accessible, and sad but hopeful novel about the impacts of residential schools. This event is open to all UBC STEM faculty, staff, students, and post-docs who are interested in deepening their understanding of residential schools and are considering initiating actions within their departments/units. You can access the e-book from the UBC Library or purchase a copy at Massy Books or another local bookstore.
