Join alumni UBC for an upcoming webinar exploring how forests can mitigate climate change and promote a healthy future. Forest expert and UBC professor Dr. Suzanne Simard will be sharing her insights on the topic. Dr. Simard has dedicated her career to unlocking the secrets of how trees communicate and interact with each other, and she is leading the testing of forest renewal practices. She has also launched the Mother Tree Network, a community of people working to support forest health.
During the webinar, Dr. Simard will discuss natural solutions for ensuring a healthy future for our forests and ourselves, as well as how we can get involved in the Mother Tree Network.
The event will be moderated by Johanna Wagstaffe, a meteorologist from CBC Vancouver News.
