Now more than ever, cities are undergoing significant changes. After two years of the pandemic, a sense of community has receded in many locations; urban development has altered our access to nature; and calls for greater accessibility, inclusion and sustainability have grown. So how can we improve our metropolitan experiences? At this webinar, hear from three UBC experts discussing how to cultivate happiness in urban environments. These speakers will share insights from their research into cities, health, and well-being. After the discussion, you’ll also have a chance to ask questions during a Q&A period. From the importance of green spaces in civic centres to meaningfully matching people with the spaces they occupy, find out how we can all make cities happier places to be.
