Master of Urban Forestry Leadership
On November 2, join us to learn more about UBC Forestry’s Master of Urban Forestry Leadership program. This session is a great opportunity learn about program requirements, eligibility, admissions and submitting a strong application for our professional master’s programs.
Taught entirely remote, the MUFL program is for practicing professionals who want to gain a competitive advantage – in only 14-months.
With a focus in key areas such as urban forestry, strategic management and decision-making, this interdisciplinary professional master’s degree will give you the skills to take your career in new directions. An optional field experience in Europe complements the online program and provides opportunities to liaise with fellow students and urban forestry leaders.

Dr. Sara Barron
As the program director for the MUFL program, Dr. Barron brings an expansive background in working with interdisciplinary teams to explore the various aspects of urban green space contributions to climate adaptation and human well-being. She is a member of the Green Infrastructure Research Group at the University of Melbourne and the Collaborative for Advanced Landscape Planning at UBC.
