About Rachel Holt
An independent ecologist with a PhD and R.P.Bio designation, Rachel has worked on the ecology and management of old-growth forests for more than 25 years. This work has been approached from numerous angles ranging from defining indices of old growth in the field in the 1990s to policy, planning and cumulative effects assessments for the province of B.C. and First Nations.
Rachel recently authored a study on the state of old growth in B.C. and was a member of the provincial ministry Old Growth Technical Advisory Panel.
