How does food impact our mental health and well-being? What can we do with what we eat to ensure we’re taking care of our bodies and minds?
On October 4, join Nicole Adoranti, Embedded Counsellor for the Faculty of Forestry and the Faculty of Land and Food Systems, to explore the connection between food and mental health with Desiree Nielsen.
Desiree is a registered dietitian focusing on plant-based nutrition and gut health, host of The Allsorts Podcast, and author of Good For Your Gut, a cookbook on digestive health. Her practice focuses on complex, chronic digestive and inflammatory diseases and plant-based approaches to optimal health.
Food and drinks will be provided, as well as a chance to win prizes!
This event is intended for students in the Faculties of Forestry and Land and Food Systems, though students from all Faculties are welcome to join!
Please RSVP by September 29, 2022.
