We are excited to bring you a new Industry Nights event, this time on the subject of the Green Economy!
Did you know that the number of jobs in Canada’s Green Economy is expected to grow by 48% by 2030? From Cleantech to Green Building and Mobility to Local Food, Vancouver’s Green Economy is burgeoning. The proportion of Green Economy workers in Vancouver is double the Canadian national average and is expected to continue growing. During this event, students and alumni will hear firsthand from leaders in the field about opportunities to protect the planet while building a career.

- Following Dr. Chan’s keynote and the panel discussion, the event will conclude with employer showcases and networking with alumni and professionals from BC Hydro, Tsleil-Waututh Nation, Telus, RBC, Environment and Climate Change Canada, and more!
