Pacific Rim Mushrooms is looking for Morel Mushroom harvesters for the upcoming morel season. This summer we will be heading to the BC interior / Okanogan! This Job is similar in fitness level to tree planting and requires some ‘true grit’. Swap the shovel for a knife and a tree bag for a bucket!

Do I need my own vehicle?
YES!! Even better try to group up with some friends. You need wheels!
How does the pay work? (Hourly, per pound etc)
Per pound, cash, paid daily after you sell us your daily pick
How much money is it possible to make in a season?
Most new people make 200 – 400 cash per day. High-Ballers much more..
Are we responsible for providing our own supplies or do you provide any?
Bring your own everything.. camp gear, water, picking gear, etc etc…VEHICLE!
How long does the season usually last?
40-80 days
When will it start?
Start date is up to mother nature but typically end of May – beginning of June. A lot of people show up early to get a feel for the terrain. Seasons have gone into September but is rare..
YOU CAN ARRIVE LATE OR LEAVE EARLY.. TOTALLY OPEN JOB AND UP TO YOU!
Stuff to bring – not all are essential:
Gas cans
Water
Bear spray
Bug spray
Mosquito netting
Good boots
Compass
GPS if you can
Water, dried foods (water containers)
2 Buckets each at least -essential
external frame backpack
camping gear and cooking equip
knife for cutting morels
bungie cords for hold baskets on frame pack
