
Congratulations to Professor, Dr John Innes, who was elected one of the three International Fellows (in the Forestry section category) of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry.
The Academy was established in 1811 and its role is to promote agriculture and forestry and related activities for the benefit of society through science and practical experience.
About the Award
This high honour is bestowed to foreign individuals who have earned a reputation for outstanding knowledge and experience within the Academy’s field of work.
The Fellows are formally elected by the Academy fellows and the Letter of Appointment is presented at the Commemorative meeting on the 28th of January. This is the second International Fellow to be elected from our Faculty, with Dr. Cecil Konijnendijk being bestowed this honour in 2014.
