The UBC Faculty of Forestry is pleased to announce that Dr Robert Kozak has been appointed as the Faculty’s next Dean. Dr Kozak will be serving a five-year term beginning on September 1, 2021, taking over the role of the current dean, Dr John Innes, who held the position for the past 11 years.
Dr Kozak has deep roots within the UBC Faculty of Forestry. He is an award-winning teacher and researcher and has served the Faculty as Department Head for the Department of Wood Science and, most recently, as Associate Dean, Academic.
