Landscape Maintenance Team Member with Kennedy Landscaping LTD in the Lower Mainland, BC
This co-op term I have been working with Kennedy Landscaping to maintain a variety of properties throughout the Lower Mainland. My main responsibilities include weeding and mulching flowerbeds, pruning and hedging, and keeping hardscapes clear of plant material. So far I have learned how to use a variety of tools such as hedge trimmers, power heads, leaf blowers, an aerator, and lawnmowers, to complete everyday tasks. I have also been improving my pruning skills and plant identification as I work at different sites. Through this opportunity I have been able to apply material from my courses and learn directly from experienced professionals. I look forward to learning more about planning and maintaining urban landscapes and improving my skills.
