During this past summer I worked on an amazing amphibian survey project with the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations in the Cariboo region. This professional experience allowed me to learn a lot about many different amphibians, the ways to identify them, their unique traits and behavior, and their preferred habitats. I have also increased my knowledge in wetlands and learned about the importance of these sensitive ecosystems.. This was an amazing opportunity for me and I feel very grateful to have been part of this project as I can now use both my forestry and biology knowledge to expand my career moving forward.
