For my fifth and final co-op work term, I continued my placement with Dillon Consulting Limited from my fourth co-op work term working with the Salmon Habitat Restoration Program in the City of Surrey. During the work term, I continued to restore salmon habitat in urban areas, working with the municipality and landowners to achieve habitat goals through invasive removal, native species planting, instream works and spawner assessments. This has been a great learning experience for me and has taught me many transferable skills such as project management, working with different stakeholders and good time management. I would like to thank Dillon Consulting and my supervisor for a great work term!
