Being tasked with side projects reinforced my prioritization and enabled me to serve clients better. Contribution of fresh ideas and my own unique set of skills and knowledge is always encouraged, and I often look forward to getting back to work! There are definitely benefits – once employed by the government, chances of returning are much higher. The experience helped me gain a clearer idea of what I like and assisted in finding my talents.
