My first co-op term with M and J Woodcrafts has been a great working experience. M and J Woodcrafts is a well-established wood products manufacturer that specializes in cabinet doors, drawer fronts and mouldings. In a regular work day, I spent most of the time on the shop floor with various departments, such as the flat panel gluing station and the press and trim line. The hands-on experience has provided me some essential practical skills for future jobs. Furthermore, I believe the cross training I received from the company has greatly strengthened my skillsets and provided valuable working knowledge on operations. Hence, I appreciate the co-op program for offering me a great opportunity to work with a friendly and passionate team
