As a co-op student working in Sales and Marketing here at Tolko I’ve been able to put the knowledge and experience I’ve gained from school and previous co-op terms to use. Managing VMI inventories, creating customer profiles, and running periodic reports are just a few of the many tasks I have been assigned thus far. The opportunity to work on the sales floor of one of the world’s largest lumber companies has provided me with invaluable experience that school alone couldn’t possibly provide. Co-op not only allows you to work in multiple sectors of an ever evolving forest products industry, but creates the opportunity to build relationships and determine where you’d like to take your career.
