Louisiana Pacific – Dawson Creek, BC
Everything is going great here in Dawson Creek, I’m really enjoying working for LP so far. I am working in the forest resources division for the summer. At the moment the other summer student and I have been doing stocking surveys of sites that are regenerating after harvesting. Most of what we are looking at is Aspen and Cottonwood, but Spruce also plays a big role in some of these stands. The deciduous trees naturally regenerate, so some of the stands are super dense, but they’re fun to stomp through. I’m having a blast!
