Research Assistant – The University of British Columbia
I am a forestry co-op student working as a research assistant at the Bioproduct Institute at the University of British Columbia. Until now, I have been working on the vegan wood leather project. This project involves delignification, drying, plasticizing, waxing and many other steps to make the wood pieces flexible and soft.

I have been working in the root ecology Laboratory in China for four months during the summer term. There were many projects in the lab, and I was mainly responsible for the project on the relationship between root and leaf genotype and seed size.

Wood Products Manufacturing Analyst – Triforest Manufacturing Inc.
During my work, I held the position of quality inspector. My main work consisted of performing experiments and quality inspections. Every day I measured the length and width of the board, checked whether the color was correct, and whether there was a difference between the height of the board.
