Position Description
The Department of Forest Resources Management, in the Faculty of Forestry at the University of British Columbia-Vancouver campus is seeking applications for a part-time (25%) lecturer in the 2024W Term 1 (Sept to Dec 2024).
The successful candidate will deliver core lectures; coordinate with guest lecturers; organize and run lab sections; organize tests, mid-term exams, and grading; and hold office hours weekly.
About the Course
CONS 481 – Conservation Planning in Practice (3 credits)
Theory, tools and practical skills needed to conduct conservation planning at the community level. Addresses issues of developing plans in the context of sustainability goals, political realities and diverse public opinion.
