Laboratory Research Assistant – Canfor Pulp Ltd.
During my 8-month co-op term at Canfor Pulp Innovation in Burnaby, I stepped into the multifaceted world of the pulp industry as a Laboratory Assistant. This experience significantly broadened my understanding of both the scientific and operational aspects of pulp production. From the outset, I was immersed in a rigorous environment where precision and accuracy were paramount.
This co-op term at Canfor Pulp not only equipped me with a deep understanding of pulp processing but also prepared me for a career in this industry. The hands-on experience has been invaluable, providing me with a practical foundation that complements my studies.
As I move forward, I carry with me not only the technical skills acquired but also a profound appreciation for the intricacies of pulp production and its broader environmental and economic impacts.
