Hana Mohammadi
Hana Mohammadi is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia, specializing in life cycle assessment (LCA) and low-carbon fuels. She is an environmental engineer with extensive experience evaluating the carbon intensity of fuels and biofuel policies, including serving as a lead author on International Energy Agency (IEA) reports on biofuel policies. Hana works closely with industry, government, and academic partners to support evidence-based decision-making for clean energy and climate policy initiatives. Her collaborations include supporting LCA work with Parkland Refinery, contributing to transportation sector decarbonization through the BC Bioenergy Network and BC-SMART Consortium, and working with the National Research Council (NRC) and Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) on LCA studies and platform development.
