Environmental co-op student at Hatch Ltd. in Vancouver, BC
This Summer I’ve had the pleasure of working as a member of the Environmental Services Group of Hatch Ltd. My position includes a variety of tasks surrounding the permitting and regulatory work for various engineering projects. At Hatch I’ve had the opportunity to support field investigations, environmental monitoring, and compliance reporting efforts to ensure that projects meet their environmental and sustainability targets. This position has given me opportunities to develop both my field identification skills and study the legal side of environmental management in Canada and across the world. Overall, this co-op term has allowed me to broaden my perspective and introduced me to the world of regulatory frameworks on a practical, experience based level.
