Bridging Barriers and Attaining New Heights: Garry Merkel’s exceptional career continues to shape forestry in BC

Today, the member of the Tahltan Nation and Registered Professional Forester is a lead voice behind the Government of BC’s newly adopted old-growth forest strategy and a recent recipient of a UBC honorary doctorate degree.
