Bachelor of Urban Forestry
Post-Secondary Transfer Pathways

Every year, many students join the Bachelor of Urban Forestry (BUF) from other post-secondary institutions via a variety of transfer credit pathways.

FES Student Services provides academic advising and can offer guidance on course planning for a successful transfer. Students should also consult academic advising services at their transfer institutions, as well as the BC Transfer Guide

A number of programs at other institutions are shown below that can prepare students for a successful transfer into the BUF program at UBC.

Note that these programs do not represent official transfer agreements between UBC and the sending institution. These programs have historically provided transfer pathways for students to the Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Stewardship based on course transferability. Students will still be required to conduct adequate course planning to ensure they meet the prerequisites for a successful transfer.
