She holds a Ph.D. in Forest Ecology and biogeochemistry from UBC. Her research interests involve Soil-vegetation-water dynamics, ecosystem carbon cycling and sequestration, sustainable forest management, and climate change impact and adaptations. Dr. Sajedi has taught at UBC, the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and several international institutions, and has led many environmental projects in a wide range of ecosystems.
