Exploring UBC Forestry with Rebecca Jin
Rebecca Jin is a fourth-year student in the Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Conservation program, majoring in Science and Management. Having completed part of her program online due to the pandemic, Rebecca is excited to get more involved in university life as VP Internal for the Forestry Undergraduate Society in the upcoming term.

UBC Forestry Announces the Launch of Two New Micro-Certificates
The Faculty of Forestry continues to build out its breadth of accessible, flexible and virtual learning opportunities with two new Micro-Certificates in Forest Carbon Management (FCM) and Climate Action and Community Engagement (CACE). Personalized, adaptable and industry-aligned, these two Micro-Certificates were designed to address the gap in online forestry education.

We are pleased to announce the winners of this year’s Best Graduate Teaching Assistant Award. The award comprises the Jordan L. Burke Memorial Award in Forestry and the Killam Graduate Teaching Assistant Award. The recipients demonstrated exceptional skills and contributions to teaching that have earned them high respect from students and course supervisors.
