Dr. Feng Jiang Named in the Paper360º 2022 Top 50 Power List

UBC Forestry congratulates Assistant Professor Dr. Feng Jiang for being named one of eight Young Professionals in the Paper360º 2022 Top 50 Power List. Dr. Jiang’s research focuses on the conversion of naturally abundant biomass into functional biomaterials through cost-effective and energy-efficient methods.

Exploring UBC Forestry with Rebecca Jin

Master of International Forestry Field School Returns to Quesnel

In partnership with the City of Quesnel and their Forestry Initiatives Program, UBC Forestry hosted its third Master of International Forestry Field School. This year, 16 students and their professors spent two days in Quesnel speaking to land managers, small businesses, government reps from the local First Nations, the municipality, the provincial government, and industry experts.

In the Spotlight: Dr. Minghao Li

With an extensive research background in high-performance engineered wood products and connection systems, multi-story mass timber and timber-steel hybrid structures, Dr. Li joins the newly formed Wood Building Science and Technology Cluster to continue to advance innovative solutions to complex structural issues.

Faculty of Forestry Supports UBC Team to Design Sitka Spruce Aircraft Model for International Competition
