Co-op Information Sessions

Students interested in the Co-op program can learn about how Co-op can establish their careers during their degrees. The information session will detail previous Co-op Student’s experiences, eligibility requirements, and how to apply to the program.

Co-op Night

Select intermediate and senior students from Forestry, Natural Resources Conservation, Forest Sciences, Urban Forestry, Wood Products Processing and Bioeconomy Sciences and Technology will present on their recent co-op work terms. Also, work term posters from junior co-op students are on display.  This is a great networking opportunity to meet our students, employers, industry guests, and faculty members.

New format  – each presentation will be 5 minutes followed by questions.  Afterwards, there will be poster presentations from junior co-op students, food and refreshments, and networking in the atrium.

The Get Hired event series

Beginning in the fall, the Faculty of Forestry Co-op Program will host a different employer each week to present information to all students about employment opportunities they have to offer students. If you are an employer and would like to book a spot during the “Get Hired” event series, contact forestry.coop@ubc.ca during the summer.
